We have a clip of Joe and his solo in Sing Sang Sung from our Swing Exchange gig the other day, but you'll have to go to our Facebook page to see it....the button is just up there...go on!

We had a blast playing for the Bristol Swing Exchange (see Photos page for some pics of the day)  The band sounded great and the dancers danced their socks off!  Maybe some videos to follow, but we're all looking forward to our next gig - November 11 at The Folk House, Park Street, Bristol.

We will be appearing at Pill Community Club Hall, 1 Lodway, Pill BS20 0DH as part of the Pill Festival on Wednesday 15th October. 8 to 10.30pm. Admission £5.

We will be at Clevedon Community School on 6th June at the 70th anniversary D Day dance in aid of the Royal British Legion and Help for Heroes, for all things good in big band music. 7.30pm start. Price is £15 including light supper. Full licensed bar. Tickets by calling 01275 873475.

Following the band's triumphant away appearance at Timsbury Jazz Club on Friday, our next performance will be on  home ground at Princes Hall, Princes Road Clevedon BS21 7SJ on Friday 6th December at 8pm through to 10.30. Doors open at 7.15. Tickets at £9 available in advance at Princes Hall (01275 873405) or on the door on the night. 

Usual bar facilities. We hope to see you there to do your own dance thing or just sit back, relax and listen to the glorious New Vero Neka Big Band sound.

The following Wednesday (11th December), we will be doing our usual end of term "Hint of Christmas to Come" party gig at Pill Memorial Cub, 1 Lodway, Pill BS20 0DH at 8.15pm. All welcome and free entry!

The band's next public appearance on Friday 29th November 2013 will be at Timsbury Jazz Club, The Conygre Hall, North Road, Timsbury, Bath BA2 0JQ, from 8pm until 11pm.

The usual mix of the best big band music old and new, with our two star vocalists Aimee and Dylan.

The following week, Friday 6th December we'll be back at Princes Hall, Clevedon.

The band is excited to be taking part in the Pill Music Festival on 16th October 2013. We will be playing at the Pill Memorial club in the evening and sharing the venue with other local bands. The gig starts at 7.30pm and we will be on stage from 8pm until 9.15pm. Bring some friends, drink a little, dance a little and have a great evening!

The band is now pleased to be working with A and W promotions (http://www.aandwpromotions.co.uk) who are arranging our next gig to be held at the BAWA club in Bristol (see our gig dates). John Allen will be working with us to increase the number of our events in our local area and further afield.

The popular Vero Neka Big band returns to Princes Hall Clevedon on Friday 12th April at 8pm, for a concert full of popular items old and new. The programme will have music to suit all big band tastes, and as well as featuring star vocalist Aimee Mukherjee, will introduce new vocal talent Dylan Cheasley, making his first appearance with the band and featuring songs from the libraries of Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darrin and Michael Buble.

The evening will suit dancers and listeners alike and promises to provide the standard of musicianship which has become the band's trademark. Tickets are available on the door on the night at £9.00 (£7.50 concessions) and £4.50 for students.
